- Step 1: Use a manual camera (or smartphone with apps such as Halide, ProCam X, Camera FV-5, etc.) to take a photo that is:
- Correctly Exposed – details visible, not too bright or dark.
- Shallow Depth of Field – subject sharp, background blurred.
 
- Step 2: Download the activity template, complete the questions, and insert your image. Rename as Name_ManualMode_Date.pdf and submit.
 
- Step 1: Use a manual camera (or smartphone with apps such as Halide, ProCam X, Camera FV-5, etc.) to take a photo that is:
- Final Project: Photo Series
- Step 1: Create a Mood Board – at least 4 inspirational images.
- Step 2: Write a 250–300 word Concept – outline theme, message, and style.
- Step 3: Plan the Photoshoot – location(s), subjects, equipment, and shot list.
- Step 4: Conduct the Photoshoot – experiment with settings, record them for documentation.
- Step 5: Review & Select – choose at least 4 final images, optional editing.
- Step 6: Self-Reflection – describe what you’re proud of and what you’d improve.
- Submit via the template.
