What products & tools do I need for my Lash Styling & Extensions course?

To support you in confidently completing your practical activities, we’ve created a clear list of all the products and tools you’ll need for the Lash Styling & Extensions course. This guide makes it easy to source everything yourself, whether you prefer to shop at Barneys or use products you already have at home.

If you received a kit with your enrolment, you’ll already have many of the essentials covered.

IMPORTANT:

You are not required to complete every optional treatment in this course. These activities are completely up to you and are simply an opportunity to explore and practise additional techniques. They are not necessary to successfully complete the course.

Products & Tools for Required Activities

In your course there are six activities you will need to complete:

• Activity 1: Lash Lifting & Tinting
• Activity 2: Lash Extensions

Each section is broken down by activity and enhancement option, so you can clearly see what is needed from the above checklist to complete each activity of your training - these are included in the list above and are not in addition to but rather a list of what you need to perform each activity.

Activity 1: Lash Lifting & Tinting

Lash Lift

• Disposable mascara wands/spoolies
• Water-based cleanser 
• Disposable cotton rounds
• Disposable cotton tips
• Disposable eye pads 
• Lash isolator tool
• Small glass dishes (to dispense products into) 
• Silicone lifting rods
• Adhesive
• Lash lifting solution

• Clean kidney dish
• Nourishing/aftercare solution 

Lash Tint

• Disposable mascara wands/spoolies
• Eye makeup remover
• Water-based cleanser 
• Disposable cotton rounds
• Disposable cotton tips
• Disposable eye pads 
• Lint-free tissues
• Small glass dishes (to dispense products into) 
• Lash tint (in chosen shade)
• Oxidant/developer
• Clean kidney dish

Activity 2: Lash Extensions

• Clean cleansing brush
• Small clean dishes (for dispensing products)
• Disposable cotton rounds
• Disposable eye pads

• Classic lash extensions (in the desired curl type, length and thickness)
